What it's like

The waterfront is Liverpool's showpiece: the Three Graces at Pier Head, the red-brick warehouses of the Royal Albert Dock and a string of museums, from Tate Liverpool and the Merseyside Maritime Museum to the Beatles Story.

It's a lovely place to walk and good for families, with Liverpool ONE five minutes away. Evenings are quieter than in town, and the wind off the river can be sharp.
