What it's like

Belltown runs north from the market along 1st to 4th avenues, with some of Seattle's best restaurants, cocktail bars and live-music venues. The Olympic Sculpture Park steps down to the water at its northern end, and the Space Needle and Seattle Center are a short walk away.

It's a lively, central base for food and nightlife lovers. It gets noisy at weekends, and some streets have visible homelessness, especially late at night.
