What it's like

Fenway is home to Fenway Park, the oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball, and on game nights the streets around Lansdowne Street and Kenmore Square fill with fans, bars and live music. Just south, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum are two of the best art museums in the US, and the Back Bay Fens offer green space.

It's a fun base for sports fans, museum lovers and students, with slightly better hotel value than Back Bay. It's loud and crowded on game days, and it's a 20-minute walk to Boston Common.
