What it's like

West Hollywood packs a lot into a small area: the Sunset Strip's legendary music venues and rooftop bars, the restaurants and design shops of Melrose Avenue and Robertson Boulevard, and the bars of Santa Monica Boulevard, the centre of LA's LGBTQ+ nightlife.

It's one of the most walkable parts of LA, central for Hollywood and Beverly Hills, with stylish hotels. Prices are high, the hills are steep above Sunset, and you'll still need rideshare for the beach or Downtown.
