Not ideal if…

What it's like

The North Strip has some of Las Vegas's most polished hotels: Wynn and Encore, the Venetian and Palazzo with gondolas on indoor canals, and newer resorts like Resorts World and the Fontainebleau. Further north, the STRAT tower has thrill rides and the city's best views, and the Las Vegas Convention Center sits just to the east.

It's a top choice for luxury stays and conventions, and calmer than the Center Strip. Above the Venetian and Wynn there's little to walk to, and the far north end feels empty in parts.
